Div Com reviews arrangements at Yatri Niwas

JAMMU, JULY 29: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal alongwith Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Mr. M. K. Dwivedi visited the Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar to review the arrangements made by the administration for the convenience of the pilgrims
The Divisional Commissioner, Jammu interacted with the pilgrims who have been stranded in Jammu due to inclement weather conditions. He assured the yatries that the State Administration is making all out efforts for their smooth yatra .He directed the concerned officers to make adequate arrangements for the yatries so that they do not face any inconvenience
The Divisional Commissioner was apprised that at present about 5000 yatries have been stranded in Jammu and have been accommodate at Yatri Niwas and various Sabha's which includes Aggarwal Sabha, Ravi Dass Sabha and Geeta Bhawan.
Director Tourism Mr. S. M. Sahni, Superintendent Engineer PHE Mr. A. K. Kapoor, XEN PHE Mr. S. C. Nanda, Deputy Director CAPD, Jammu Mr. Romesh Chander, Health Officer, Jammu and senior officers of the concerned department also accompanied the Divisional Commissioner.
Later, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Mr. M. K. Dwivedi visited the Aggarwal Sabha and reviewed the arrangements made for the yatries there.
